a couple of years ago i got this tattoo on my ankle that literally has people stopping me on the streets to tell me how good it looks, very tastefully done, and something even my mother approves of. ( and i'm middle aged, making mom that much older!) whatever you choose to do, make sure you're understanding that a tat is pretty much a life-long commitment, especially when it's open to the public's eye and becomes part of your character. tattoo away, i say. i know i'm gonna git more!! best of luck with your new endeavors!

Love them I have 5...One on my lower leg of a Chinese dragon..from knee to ankle, a tweety bird on my other leg (ankle) an armband (2 joined together) and a Chinese symbol on my inner arm...the more the merrier!!
Enjoy your new tat and ignore any potential backlash you may get here about tatts...seems to be a touchy subject here

I work in a tattoo studio, have tattoos, and personally find them very sexy or symbolic on the right person. Just stay away from the cliche female tattoos, and flash art. Most people truly into tattoos or in the tattoo industry mock cliche tattoos (roses, butterflies, hearts) behind your back and find them very unoriginal. Flash art tattoos are the worst, nothing like having 1,000 other girls wearing the exact same tattoo that you have.

Personally I don't really like tats on girls unless they are small, tasteful and discreet. But that's just me.

Love them! I have 6... my largest is on my back it's 9 inches long and 6 inches wide. My trick is tho that I put them where they can be covered.
