To some people.
To me, love is more important than money.
However, money represents security and opportunity.

Yep...sad but true. Money. What can you do without it? NOTHING! You say money can't by happiness, tell that to a bum on the street. $50 would make him/her the happiest person on earth for a while.
Money controls the world. Now, if we lived in a cashless society, one where everyone's needs are met....who'd do the dirty work? If you got your roof over your head and 3 square meals a day for being a teacher, doctor and a garbage man.....who'd do the dirty work?
"Money....so they say, is the root of all evil tooooday"

Money is just a means to an end. The end is made up of people who accept money in return for some kind of work. Money is a form of work, people are not work, nor are they money. Redness, triangles, numbers, democracy, these things are not money either.

I consider money is important because without it we wouldn't be able to live comfortably...to survive. But I consider that certain people who use it as power tool to control and harm other people, that they just don't deserve it...that's where the value of that money become meaningless and useless...Money is NOT everything...happiness, dignity and respect is.

Capital dominates everything.
Sitting idly in a lawn-chair sunbathing is an economic act.
You paid the mortgagor, you satisfied the employer, you paid the military-men to protect the border, paid the policemen to protect your fence, paid the gap 600% surplus-value on your slave-labor bathing suit, similarly with the sunscreen.
Oh you're nude on a public lawn without sunscreen?
You haven't paid a single tax-- haven't been fed on bread by the state?
Every breath, every defiant act of love, every crying out Against Capital-- is an affirmation of its ubiquity.
"The whole life of those societies in which modern conditions of production prevail presents itself as an immense accumulation of SPECTACLES. All that once was directly lived become mere representation [...] The spectacle is CAPITAL accumulated to the point where it becomes image"
Guy Debord, "The Society of the Spectacle"

Money is a measuring tool - a unit of measurement, like a yard or a pound.
It measures how sincerely you desire something - if you want X you will pay n units of money for it. If you want lots of material wealth, you will, by hook or by crook, accumulate the money to either buy it or buy the means to get it.
It is a very efficient tool for measuring desires, but it is very poor at measuring needs.

No it isn't everything but it sure influences a lot of things. You can't be "happy in love" if you're going hungry. You can't have a happy family either if everyone's getting sick or going hungry as well and you're getting evicted from your house. It might not be everything but you've got nothing without it.

There can be moments when you will say "money is nothing".
So just learn that "money is a thing" and not everything and nothing.

Love will only get you so far, it's what's in the checkbook is what keeps people together. No, money isn't everything, but if you don't have it, everything is a lot harder.

Money is everything. Without it, you can't have a roof over your head. You can't clothe yourself and you'd go hungry. Money is not the root of all evil, rather it can cause the root of all evil.
