It's just something that happens.. It is nothing you did or are doing!!
I loved when my kids got the hiccups... I loved to feel them move!!
i think that's what I miss the most about being pregnant.. just being able to feel something that no one else could!!

Hiccups are caused by a baby drinking too much amniotic fluid. It's got nothing to do what you ate.
My dauther had hiccups in the womb very often and even after she was born.

That is a curious question. I think it probably is from something the mother eats or drinks because we get hiccups that way. I've always been told you're growing when you get the hiccups.

hiccups are caused when the diaphragm and the lungs become out of sync. even in the womb the baby is practicing "breathing". food has nothing to do with hiccups. good luck!!

It doesnt have anything to do with anything that you are doing or eating. Babies yawn and hiccup in utero all the time and it is believed that it is part of normal airway development. It is believed that a baby hiccups when it swallows to much amniotic fluid. All air breathing animals hiccup and yawn in utero.

Just something that happens. Our baby hiccuped all of the time and now that she's out -- she still gets hiccups pretty frequently.

The baby is beginning to be an individual and is doing its own thing.
