Lets see. Walking a mile takes maybe 15 minutes. Driving at 30MPH takes 2 minutes. I would say the difference is 13 minutes if your going 30 MPH. If you're going 60 MPH (interstate driving) it takes1 minute to go a mile and the difference is 14 minutes.

Well if you can walk as fast as a car can drive, then sure. Most people walk at about 3 mph, which converts to about 20 minutes to walk one mile. This would normally take a minute or two in a car, depending on how fast you drive.

Hello... Yes, (LOL) my legs would get tired if I had to walk a mile instead of driving a mile. My walking days are over with.
It is still a mile rather you walk or drive the mile.

hmmm, let's see. ...you walk , say at 3 miles/hour. So it would take about 20 minutes to walk the mile.
You drive, (on the highway) say, 60 miles/ hour. So it would take 1 minute to drive the mile......
Let's just say you are on a city street, so you have to drive around 25 miles/hour. Now it would probably take approximately 2.5 minutes.
Unless, of course you are a superhero like Flash, or Superman. For them it would be something like 1/1,000,000 of a second.

Driving a mile will normally take less time (asuming little or no traffic). It will also eave you less tired than walking.
However, walking is good exercise and can often help relieve stress.

a mile is a mile
driving gets you to point a to point b faster, but it's still a mile
walking gets you to point a to point b slower, but it's still a mile
the timing all depends on how fast you drive
or
run
