ive got this error "Your Internet IP address falls in the same subnet as your LAN IP address" ...please help

For this, you change your LAN( internal Network) IP Address to some other Private IP Address range like 172.16. x.x or 10.x.x.x

Your computer has an internet address, something like 192.168.1.5, and your 3com WiFi router also has an internet address. The address on the 3com is also something like 192.168.1.x, for example 192.168.1.6, and that is too close to the other address.

Did you manually set the Internet IP address on the 3com Wifi? If so, don't do that, instead let it get such an address automaticaly.
