I never got around to seeing Syriana while it was in theatres, so I just bought the DVD, assured by the critics and my freinds that it was good. But I just found it long and dry and was able to predict the pivotal moments before they happened, which I hate. I am now having a bad case of buyer's remorse. What did you think of Syriana?

I am a big movie watcher and as a general rule I like the movies I rent. Some I like better then others. I didn't get to watch the entire movie of Syriana because it was so Slow and boring I fell asleep. I NEVER fall asleep during a movie but this one felt it wasn't going anywhere. One of those movies that take the entire movie to get somewhere and once it gets there then it wasn't worth waiting for... No No not a good movie.

If and when the Pats make it to the Super Bowl, It will be boring. There are 3 - 4 AFC teams better than any NFC team. Having said that... the AFC playoffs will be great. Some really good teams left in great shape injury wise. I am a Pats fan. 19 straight wins is going to take some extra special play and a little luck.

It isn't one I would have purchased, much like Munich. It's worth a watch, if the mood strikes, but those kind of films are only worth the message, but not for repetitive entertainment. Don't ever buy a DVD of a movie you've never seen ... rent it or pay for pay-per-view the one time, and if you like it, then buy it USED at Hollywood or Blockbuster. Saves you that hassle (it took me years to figure that out!)

Yes, very boring. Such a waste of good actors. I can't believe Clooney won a Oscar for that, he barely spoke.
