The Orleans has the most for kids outside of Circus Circus.

Bowling Alley, Movie Theatre, Arcade.

Its not on the Strip, but the Orleans is widely recognized as the "best bang for your buck" in Vegas.

even though circus circus says there kid friendly we are not
keep the kids at home when you come to Vegas but if you must bring the kids to Vegas and stay at circus keep them with you at all times don't make them stand off to the side while you gamble teach them the room number you are staying in and don't leave them in the hotel room alone while you go out .
WHY DO I SAY THIS
because i work in the security department at circus and i can not tell you how many times we have had to take some kid that is lost to the security booth and try to locate the parents or how many parents have gotten 1,500.00 $ from the state gaming control for having the kids stand off to the side or at the slot machine with them or how many kids go missing because the parents don't look after them kid because they want to gamble or have some alone time LAS VEGAS IS NOT FOR KIDS !!!
IF YOU WANT A FAMILY VACATION GO TO DISNEY LAND OR SEA WORLD BUT STAY AWAY FROM VEGAS

I don't take my kids there anymore but when we did we went to MGM Grand. They had a kids quest type program where the kids could go when we went out. (we didn't leave hotel grounds). And the pool is perfect for kids. We got a cabana which comes with the tubes for the lazy river. There is also pools that are shallow for kids. Look at it online to be sure they still have all this stuff as Vegas is known to change overnight. We last stayed there with the kids in 2003. One more thing, they have an awesome spa for the adults.

I think a lot of them are now, the newer ones on the strip anyway. I was in Excalibur and saw a kids' gaming area, kind of like at Chuck E Cheeses where you win tokens, etc. Also, there are lots of awesome attractions all over, like the roller coaster at New York New York, the lions at MGM Grand, I think that's also where the Rainforest Cafe is too. There's an awesome ride at the Star Trek exhibit, forgot which hotel though. When we were there in Nov 05 we saw lots of fun things to do with the kids!

Every hotel in Vegas is now Kid Friendly...my favorite is excalibur
The idea of kids sleeping in a castle is pretty cool ...but a must do for your trip is the treasure island show and of course the water show @ bellagio another must do is the secret garden @ treasure island. My son loves the museum @ the bellagio.
One suggestion is that every hotel has a list of great babysitters I have used many of them and have always been very happy..this way you can have quality family time but you and your partner can enjoy Vegas as adults..
Happy traveling!!!

This is really a great question---because Circus Circus has the rep as the place to go if you have real young kids...and the place to stay away from if you don't....Need to know how old though..4yrs and 13 yrs...big difference...

Without a doubt, the Luxor. It has three IMAX ride-films, a regular IMAX theater and a huge video game arcade with games you won't see in many other places.

The food court has (I believe) the only McDonald's in a strip hotel in addition to Nathan's. The Luxor also has a convenient walkway to the Excalibur which also has fun stuff for kids.

Have fun.

All the hotels are about the same, good but will have shows and/or a casino in them. (i had to go their when i was 13 for nationals for dance competition) just make sure you stay away from the older part of town...but honestly that stuff is even on the street corners. good luck and it can be fun, there's lots of stuff that children appropriate! But you do have to weed through the bad
