People have been claiming Jesus is returning for something like 2,000 years now, and someone always comes up with some sign from God that it's about to happen.

If you were a true, practicing Christian the last thing in the world you should be concerned about is when is Jesus returning.

You should be focusing on practicing what you preach, teaching by example, helping as many needy people as you can, adopting an unwanted child if possible, and simply loving your neighbor without casting stones.

You make it sound like such an ominous occasion. Shouldn't it be a good thing if Jesus is so loving and kind. Sheesh, you make it sound like a visit from your in-laws or something. Grow up and quit trying to threaten people who dont believe the same as you.Your doing the same thing that Muslim terrorists are attempting to do.Scare people into believing your way.By the way those threat tactics work best on little kids in sunday school class.Maybe you should see if there is a childrens yahoo questions and answers. You'll get more recruits that way.Good luck!

You are expecting something, from god none the less? God gives, god gives you expectation, god gives you a name to expect, we must remember however, this is all god, it is always coming and going (which is another form of coming). If I am ready, it is because god is ready. But do I need jesus? No, that is but another name we give god (which I really like calling "being.")

Ready or not, here He comes.

Yeah, I'm ready. Though if the Fundies are right, Jesus is sending me straight to Hell. And when that is going on, I'm going to tease him, saying, "Nah, nah, nah! I'm more forgiving than YOU are! I found have forgiven YOU for not believing in ME!"

And Jesus would say, "Oh, shut up!"

Amen.

are you insane or are you just 'special', jesus is a historical figure and unless you need to be put in a mental ward 'Jesus' is not really coming, but I'm sure the nice men in white coats would love to 'save' you

I see these signs everywhere... what do you mean? Is he like going to just show up and walk around or is he going to come in a more figurative form, like natural disasters and whatnot? I'm confused. And what should one do to prepare? Wear a nice dress? Need to be more specific here, I guess.

Yes. Finally all those years of scarfing down Nilla wafers and grape juice are going to pay off big time.

He won't hold it against me that my country murdered over 30,000 civilians in Iraq and I didn't lift a finger to stop it, will he?

am sorry but this is not a philosophy question. It does not relate to the study of knowledge or the love of wisdom. And nor does it relate to ethics, morality, epistemology, ontology, philosophy of mind, existentialism. metaphysics or any other topic I can think of. Perhaps you might categorise this elsewehere.
