Hey darlin, I found this on Kotex.com. Don't let the other girls worry you, here's what the experts have to say....
Your period may be irregular through the first year or two. But after that, when you've begun to menstruate regularly, missing a period may be a sign of pregnancy (if you've been sexually active). Other causes of irregularity may be stress, a change in your diet or an increase in exercise, or drug use. If none of these apply to you, or if you're still concerned, check with your physician.
Another part of the article says that a cycle between periods is sometimes 21-45 days....
Hope this helps!

I am sure you are fine. You probably have a hormone imbalance. My sister has periods that are like 3 months long and then none for the next 3 months or sometimes they are every 2 weeks. It is crazy. Go to a gyno and ask though just to be sure.

If it has only been a year that you have had your period it is pretty normal to be irregular. Your body is still changing. If it persists see your Dr. It is probably no big deal.

It's normal for your period to fluctuate.
It's probably nothing to worry about.
One of my friends' periods stopped for about 6 months straight her first year.
If you need reassurance you can always ask your doctor.

It's normal. Your body is still trying to get the hormones all under control. Just be prepared with supplies until it becomes regular.
