No bush did as little as possible! There are more police in Manhattan then there ever were troops on the ground in Afghanistan, Bush never cared about Osama, he wanted Iraq more, but he knew the American people would never stand for him going right into Iraq so he had to do Afghanistan first because it was widely know that that's where Osama was. If we had put as many troops into Afghanistan as we did Iraq we probably would have caught Osama.

IN answer to your question: I don't hink it is Yahoo monitoring Q's. It is those who disagree with you that are reporting abuse. So, think that we need to review the guidelines and rephrase the Q's we ask when nec. Anyway,I believe that bin laden was his excuse to get into Iraq and Iran. He couldn't do Iran because of poor planning and resistance of the Iraqi people. If the money were spent on Bin Laden, he would have been caught long ago. Remember that Bush talked about his plans during the election. I am not a Bush supporter in any way but I would have supported an action in Afgan. for a moment if I believed he was trying to get Bin Laden.

Bush didn't do diddly except send in token troops to Afghanistan. He used 9/11 as an excuse to go after Saddam Hussein whom he had vowed to remove on his first day in office because Hussein put out a contract on Daddy at the time of the First Gulf War. As long as bin Laden is on the loose, he can keep troops in Iraq and as long as he keeps troops in Iraq, Halliburton makes more money and as long as that happens, Cheney makes more money when he leaves office. And let's not forget the money that Big Oil makes because the oil isn't flowing out of Iraq, so what is available sells for more by the barrel and we wind up paying $3 a gallon - all because Bush is a crook and liar.

It is my belief that Bush has handled 911 and Osama Bin Laden to the best of the ability. Bin Laden had been making threats for years. We live in a country where you are innocent until proven guilty. Bin Laden couldn't have been arrested for something he didn't do.
Bush Jr is only one man. Yes he is the Commander in Chief, and yes he does have advisers.
It is also my belief that he and the American military have done everything with in their power to find Bin Laden.
I trust that if they say they haven't found him, they haven't found him. If they have found him and haven't shared that with the public, there's are several reasons for that. First reason being keeping him from being a martyr which would only produce more like Bin Laden, second being for protection of the American public.

Well, catching Osama wasn't exactly a full throttle venture. Actually, Just as Papa Bush before him, Bush wanted a military presence in Iraq. And could be that he thought when Saddamit was brought down that we would be welcome with open arms, Mission Accomplished! Ah, The well laid plans of mice> The rest of the quote does not seem apropos.

Any average person with Internet access can download google earth... right? So I did, and I was able to see my house from the top... I saw my neighborhood, other cities...etc!
If an average person is able to do so, then what about the US!
I believe they have more advanced systems than the simple google earth!
If they wanted Saddam Hussein back in 1991... they would have captured him.. if they want Osama Ben Laden, they can get him in a heart beat.... etc etc etc!!!
Why then stall the process!? You tell me!!! Hee Hee, SIMPLE AS THIS!!!

No. Bush doesn't want to catch bin Laden, he just wants to *appear* to be doing everything he can to catch him to keep up his "war on terror" act for the Americans, who really *really* buy into it. If bin Laden is caught a big part of it will be over, and so will Bush's popularity (if he has any, that is).

No I don't think Bush did all he could to find him.
I think that with today's satellites that can all but read newsprint in Times Square on a cloudy day, that he really should have been found by now.
That and the fact he is on dialysis. For 3-4 days a week he is tied to a machine for up to 4 hours and we still can't get a handle on him? Please.

If the US used all of its intelligence, spy satellites, and world influence to find this man and has come up with nothing then... looking at the situation from a black and white prospective, the man would have to be some kind of super genius or the effort was not put forth or the possibility is that our intelligence is incompetent.

God there are over 23 million arrests warrants they can't seem to serve in the USA and most of these people are in the phone book. You really think Bush could arrest a person with an unlisted number?
