i just put new plants in my pond last week and there looks like some oily stuff in my pond could that be why they are dieing??

do you have a pump in your pond to move the water it coud be to hot if it not very big if you can try running your pond over the side if you have any oil on it will be on topputting a pump in helps with the air also

the suns heat can go tru water about 300 feet and im sure ur pound is less then tat so this mens too much sunlight is heating up the water and the fish so they will dye
