My daughter's 15 b-day is coming up and she wants to rent a limo and take all her friends out to a really nice, but also fun restaurant. It has to be some place that 10-15 teen girls can go and not have to worry to much about the noise of their giggling. We've thought of the Hard Rock but thats the only one we can come up with. She really doesn't want to go there, are there any others? Doesn't matter what kind of food they serve, or how expensive it might be. This is a special one for her.

I would suggest the Magic Time Machine in Addison. It is definitely a festive place-so no one will mind the giggling. The servers dress up as different characters (I've had everything from the Cat in the Hat to a Commando) and play the parts. Huge salad bar with something different for everyone. Last time I was there they also had platters for large groups.

I would suggest you check out the website.

Try the Grand Lux, my 17yo boy loves it. They serve alot of food (part of the Cheesecake Factory chain.), so the girls may want to split.

Otherwise there is Monica'a Aca Y Alla in Deep Ellum which is better Mexican food (not Tex-Mex) and they host numerous bachelorette parties and have a good band. Hard to talk to each other with the band playing.

Iron Catcus downtown is casual. Any of the nicer restaurants would cater to you as well - Stephen Pyles, Dakota's if it is still open, Maggiano's, Buca de Peppo(?), the Green Room (Deep Ellum), Nana Grill (the Anatole), Antaries (Reunion Tower).

Good luck.

KOBE Steaks in Addision. It's the best hibachi around and you'll get your own room, seperated from other guests so your girls can giggle all the want. You get your own chef who cooks in front of you and they flip the food in the air and catch it on fire and all that good stuff. It would be perfect if they want to dress up a bit, take their shoes of and enjoy a great meal. Plus, the limo would fit right in if you go to Addison.

Well, depending on how "mature" your daughter is. I'm in my early 20's and I love whimsical stuff like this. It's call the Magic Time Machine. It's a a really happenin' place! It's a good younger crowd. It's a cool concept. It's definitely "special". Click the link below to see more about it.

I loved the Magic Time Machine in Addison, my friends and I went there before prom for dinner. If a bunch of 17 and 18 year olds can enjoy it surely 10-15 year olds can.

First, get these girls to Deep Ellum. Take them to the Angry Dog. It's Hot Dogs and Burgers, however it's good food and fun with a good atmosphere and plenty of room for big groups (you can all sit at one table).

If Dave & Busters would work, there's a couple in North Dallas (!-35/Walnut Hill, and Walnut Hill and Central), and one in Frisco (Stonebriar Mall).

Check out Texas de Brazil; it's a churascaria so it's not a quiet place. Very trendy and fun as well!
