I have a '96 dodge grand caravan and for a week now the air bag light has been staying on. also today, my cruise control wouldnt turn on, so it doesnt work now. What is going on?

I am not able to give you a answer as far as the cruise control because it is one of those things where I would have to have the vehicle to pinpoint the problem. Now, for your airbag, DO NOT try to fix or diagnose the problem yourself, take the car ONLY TO YOUR DEALER ! ! DO NOT take it to your mechanic or a repair shop, ONLY YOUR DEALER. GET THIS CHECKED IMMEDIATELY. Im not yelling at you by typing all caps, just putting emphasis on the urgency of your problem.

only way to diagnose the Air Bag light is to take it to someone who has a scanner to plug into the diagnostic port on your van and read the code. The air bag problem and the cruise problem should be unrelated.
