when i was about 10 i saw a television show about UFO's and other weird stuff. on that same program i heard a story about a pyramid that held alot of prophecies. that for every significant event that has happened in history there is some kind of "marker" inside this pyramid, kinda like a timeline. but at one point (not sure what year it supposed to represent) it dropped off into a huge deep hole. i can't remember too much after that, but would very much like to find out more. anyone have any more info on this pyramid? or know where i can find out more? thanks alot.....

I believe what you're talking about is the great pyramid of giza. On the website below, Kiara Windrider reports that:

"There is a prophetic timeline encoded within the measurements of the Great Pyramid of Giza, which is derived from its geometrical features. When retro-viewed, the dates indicated by this timeline and geometry appear to correlate with significant historical events, including the birth of Jesus Christ, the development of the atomic bomb, and the two world wars of the last century. This timeline is calculated to have begun in 3999 B.C., and ended on September 17, 2001. The measurement of this timeline ends at the doorway of the King's Chamber "

Other interesting theories concerning the pyrimids of Gaza include:
-they were constructed to be aligned with Orion's belt
-a line constructed to pass through all 3 pyramids, it would divide the worlds land masses into equal halves

The pyramid of Giza (*one of the last remaining ancient wonders of the world) is also mentioned in the Bible, Isaiah 19:19-- In that day there shall be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt....Re: Dr. Leland Jensen. The pyramid is concidered to a
chonological book of prophecy in 'stone'.

The ancient Egyptians believed in an afterlife. They mummified not only the Pharaoh, but themselves and their pets as well. All their prophesies are based on those beliefs and have nothing to do with you. If you are interested in Egyptian mythology, you can study in school. Or, in a less serious way, watch the "Mummy" movie series.

;-D Do you believe in magic? Can witches fly? Can mummies live again? Take it easy and study something that you enjoy, even if it is archeology!
