I want to see this movie. Can I take my sister to see it? Is there a lot of sex and drugs. If there are, would it be too much for her? She really wants to see it too.

I just got back from seeing "Miami Vice" and all I could say that it was well-written and paying a little bit homage to the TV show. To answer your questions, most of the sex scenes (2 to 3) in the movie is more emotional than erotic, with lots of backside nudity, to represent vulnerability among characters. Drugs are the back-story to this movie but there is no hint of actual drug use in the film. If your sister can handle it, there is a lot of head being shot at by various guns and the violence is stylistic but bloody, as it reminisces Michael Mann other film "Heat" and "Collateral". I admit the first half of the movie was mere drama that Mann wanted to establish before he got into the nitty gritty of shootouts and glory violence in the second half. If your willing to deal with the drama, then go see this film. Otherwise, there isn't that much violence to deal with within the film if your all going for violence-per-minute. Overall, I liked the film and this is the way action movie should be made more, with real drama.

Sex ,drugs, things blowing up, blood all over. There is a reason why it is rated R. The movie isn't all that great though. If your sister is under 18, she has no business watching this.
