the swastika is orginally an asian symbol of peace, that can be seen on buddhas and in asian art. hitler flipped it around and it means the opposite- war. These are two very different symbols and should not be confused.

there are different theories about why hitler hated the jews. i think it was simply an easy scapegoat, something europeans had a history with. I think from a pratical perspective they were simply the easiest targets. and possibly it was related to a personal vendetta like thing- although that could never really be proven.

its shocking to look at the history of the propaganda that was put out by Hitler about Jews. many modern stereotypes were once used by hitler. it truly is disgusting.

arab antisemitism generally has to do with the state of israel. whether or not that is deserved, i do not think it is, will be debated at length by many people.

Arabs are Semites as well.
Hitler was psychotic and it wasn't only the jews he hated, he killed some 48 million people, six million of them were Jews, hmm the other 42 million seem to be unimportant, cos they were Gentiles?
Do not compare Muslims to hitler, the issue between Muslims and Jews (and christians and religions in general) is far, far older than hitler, and there is no scope here to go into it. Read some authentic theology, perhaps you will find your answer there.
As far as what is happening now, between, Palestine and Israel and Lebanon, it is less an issue of Islam and jews and more of politics. Palestine and Lebanon are hardly, from careful observation, flag bearers of Islam, the influence of Islam in these countries is very little. As for the terrorists, their actions have no connection to Islam, nor any basis whatsoever, even though they allege it. If you really want to know what Islam is about, pick up a qur'an, you'll be surprised. Otherwise try harder to get your facts straight. Just friendly advice.

the swastika was a religious symbol of Aryans. This is why it was selected as hitler believed the desendants of that race were the master race of the world.
The jews were a convenient scapegoat. They had spread across Europe and had become very rich. Also they tended to keep themselves divided from the "gentiles" so as they did not interact with the majority of society, people were suspicious of them (the same mistake muslims are making today) as they were rich and germany needed money the jews were the perfect people to steal from. By classifying them "subhuman" it meant that they could do this free of guilt...

The one has nothing to do with the other. The swastika has been a religious symbol for many years. It's easy to draw and not overtly Christian. A good choice, heraldically.
Hitler used the Jews (and, most people forget, the retarded, the gay, the gypsies, etc.) as a stepping stone. Get people het up: that's the route to power.
For more background, search for "eugenics." Only after the Holocaust became public did U.S. support for eugenic programs wane.

The swastika is rather a sanatana image, no longer certain up with any united states of america or ideology. ... So, his social gathering did not exist on the time of the Mahatma's homicide If the swastika itself has continually been a Hindu image, then I disagree with opposing its restore. The Nazis are lifeless, and human beings ought to flow on. we gained't enable the stigma of Nazism stay in each and every thing that had once "embodied" their ideology, and in turn deny the rights of others. that is for an identical reason that we ought to continually no longer discriminate Germans merely because of global conflict II. The Hindus have a properly to religious freedom. The swatika image brings no longer showers of burning coal or lifeless llamas. this may look irrelevant, yet I see the understanding in our fave Dumbledee's words; "worry of the call develop worry of the element itself." Why worry the Swastika? even if that is used in a fashion disrespectful to international historic past (going to a social gathering in a Nazi gown, as an social gathering ;)), then which could be incorrect, yet to disclaim the Hindus a variety that they see as mandatory to their practice? it really is blind oppression. The Hindus had under no circumstances even performed a component in international conflict II. the position the Swastika has been used for impartial applications and dates lower back to even previously the use with suggestions from the Nazis, then i trust it may no longer get replaced yet what better persisted. Why? To dispel the stigma. i do not love the swastika or something, yet i hit upon its entire rejection because of historic stigma somewhat over-the-proper. As i have stated, there are situations the position it ought to be deemed irrelevant; yet competition for it being on the Finnish airways variety? properly, we do stay in an open international... or do we somewhat?

Not sure why he his choice was the Swastika but I do know that some of the answers you have gotten are correct it is a much more ancient symbol and my, Celtic Jr. High instructor used to get so mad that Hilter used this because it meant something good in that culture.

it was a copy of a Hindi symbol but because he hated them as well he said it was an ancient Celt symbol turned around and with an extra arm added!

He didn't just try to exterminate the Jewish people he would have eventually wiped out every religion in the world and every person who wasn't white.

Not the whole Muslim community condones these acts of terror, the Glasgow Imam has repeatedly said it goes against the very basic pillars of the Islamic faith.

Hitler believed that the swastika was a symbol of Aryan identity. He wanted to destroy the Jewish race because he believed that the "Aryan" race was superior to all others, and destined to rule over them.

"The whole Muslim world?" Really?! C'mon. Your view of Islam is simplistic and one-dimensional.

Muslims don't like Jews because they denied prophet Mohammad! That is the main reason! And the second is because Jews are the richest people in the world, and they can't stand that

Hitler didn't choose it, it was already being used by the Germans prior to his rise in power...The only thing Hitler created was the SS as his secret police.. The Swastika was used in ancient Egypt and by the Druids and Celtic tribes for ever and ever...
