ha! same thing with my great grandparent's house! only they also had a clock that went bong! bong! bong! every hour. it's really wweird you ask this because i got a clock from my mom a few months ago and you can hear the ticking in my bed room. i was ok with it until about a week ago when i couldn't sleep with it anymore! it just all of the sudden tormented me. it is now on the bathroom floor with the door shut!

Yes, sometimes. What I do is I repeat the words "Deep Sleep" to the "Tick Tock" pattern. I think of nothing else except those 2 words. Pretty soon after that I somehow fall asleep.

i dunno about the clock but i do have some not-so-happy memories about staying at my grandparents house when i was little. ah, the memories of my crazy, sadistic grandparents! no not really they were just crabby and mean and i would hide in my room watching tv and eating hot cheetos every time i went over there. they kept a rack full of guns in the room that i slept in. the only problem was, i couldn't find any ammo. other than that minor setback i could've rescued myself a long time ago and made the whole thing look like an accident cuz no one's gonna think a 6-year-old is gonna murder their own grandparents. but then that means no more christmas cards with 20 dollar bills in em'

Yes, it makes me crazy! My grandparents had a grandfather clock in the living room and of course I always got stuck on the couch at night.

Yes,.. i found it better if you put something on, but very low so u don't wake anyone up. keep it close so u don't hear the TICKING.
