I went to a yard sale today and purchased five pairs of Jeans that were too big for me, brand new for 25 cents each and they still had the price tag from Wal-Mart. I had no receipt for them so I took them back to Wal-Mart and they let me exhchange the Jeans for anything else I wanted of equal value. I told them I lost the receipt. That was a good deal today. I like Wal-Mart:)

Eventually Wal-Mart will stop exchanging as well, but for tright now, their refund policy is in shambles. There are literally hundreds of ways to sham the stores legally, but that is why the p[roces are so high. The customers pay for the shop lifters. I didn;t steall crap. All I did is give them back their merchandise and got something esle...that is not stealing, thats is education people for the dumb people to get smart.

I just spoke with a Wal-Mart manager and the there are certain regulations that apply to returning eitems without a receipt. If you don;t have the reciept, you can exchange it for something else of equal value or exchange the item with another item of the same, but you get no cash back.
If you use a credit card for the purchase you can have your refund two ways...cash or credit back to your card. I just happen to get lucky at a yard sale where the brand new jeans still has the Wal-Mart sitcker and all he eanted was 25 cents each. I bought them all and the price tag total $89.95 worth of jeans for a $1.25. I scored big yesterday...the Moral here is not exchanges, but the deals you can find at yard sales.

This person is right, the problem with Wal-Mart is they really don't have a great way to track exchanges, Sam's Club is just as bad when it comes to exchanges, this is a true story cause I work there, you can buy a pool in the start of summer and take it back in the winter and get ALL your money back for it!!!!! and there is no restocking fee's, you could buy a bottle of wine drink it and they will give back your money as long as you leave 8 ozs in it.

As much getting over on the employee's that Wal-Mart is doing- they deserve it. Great blue light special I think!

by the way- wothout a reciept you are limited to 3 exchanges a year!

While I can't stand Walmart, you have to live with yourself. If you don't mind devaluing yourself, sure why not. Personally, I like going to bed feeling that I have contibuted something useful, not usurped value. That is called NeoCheating.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Have you ever been to jail? Obviously not. Enjoy the road you are on, it is filled with both thrills AND spills. Live it up now kiddo, just don't whine when your face is in the cot.

Remember that you were on camera in that store making that exchange, so if you do it too often they will eventually catch on and not accept anything from you without a receipt........Deception brings about deception, so don't expect everything in your life to go rosy..........Take care

It is wrong to cheat, but to even deal with those who have taken
so many and cheated this country of so much i refuse to even enter the business.

Maybe what you did wasn't illegal, but it sure smacks of being unethical. And you gloat about it. Obviously you feel like you put one over on Walmart.
