I've always admired McCain, and this is something that he would do, because he's always been a soldier before a politician, which is why Repubs are so anti him right now because he won't join the rank and file. I'm also a democrat, but one who would like to see the elimination of bi-partisan bs. And for the guy who had to see it to believe it, here's a URL:
PS for anyone who perhaps hasn't read anything in the last 30 years and would question McCains duty to his country a URL that is a copy of a speech where he talks about things that happened in his 51/2 YEARS AS A POW in Vietnam. So please don't be asking John McCain to sign up, you only look stupid, ignorant and ill-informed

No this does not change my Opinion of McCain at all because ya see John McCain did not make his Son join the Marines.

His Son chose on his own Free Will to join the Marines.

I am a Republican and im not all that fond of John McCain but I will not hold that against his Son because I am very proud of his Son.

I definetly do not want John McCain as President although I would pick him over Hillary Clinton anyday.

Their visas, trip records, etc. could all have been authorized on the thought that they could return to their u . s . of beginning. whilst it comes to the McCain's, the determination to undertake exchange into made, it form of feels, swiftly and with out forethought. i locate Senator McCain's flippant reaction approximately how he had no area in the determination unhappy.

It does not change my opinion of Senator John Mccain but I have much more respect for his son knowing that he is willing to defend our country.

I have absolutely nothing against the members of our military and I support them fully.

I do have issues with our current president who lied to fulfill his lust for war.

It is a nice change to see a senator who allows his sun to join the military in times of war.

Not in the least. John McCain had a distinguised record in serving his country, and it is not surprising that the son is interested in doing likewise. In any event, it is no reflection (either way) on Sen. McCain.

I would like to see some proof of that. Repuglicans usually do not send their children off to war. Just add a link to the source where you got this information.
