Dad. He took off when I was 3 and sister was only a month or 2. Mom was in college at the time for nursing. Dad took all the savings, mom had to quit school, work a full time job and start night school for like 6 years. Then when she took him to court, he was already remarried with a new kid. The judge told my mom to **** off, cuz dad had to "focus on his new family" We got no child support and never saw mom much, because she was always working. Dad got some visitation, but he usually blew us off or showed up 3 hours late. Then he'd cry in front of us that "mom had a new boyfriend" or that we started to prefer to stay with mom instead of see him. He'd always expect YOU to make all the first moves, like calling to spend time etc.
And I'm a do-it-yourself tile guy, landscaper and cook. Just thought I'd stay relevant to the category.

Every person who made things difficult, was really acting as a mirror and a teacher for me. A mirror, because I really had to face myself , who I am,and then decide on what path to take. A teacher, because they taught me there are many paths to take.
The high road, and the many lower roads.

My ex-boyfriend, he made my life difficult by making me realize that I made his life difficult. So basically it was myself who made my own life difficult.

My ex fiancee. He has gone in and out of my life for the 20 last years. He finds a new way to hurt and devastate me each time we reconnect, and then stays away for awhile. I expect he'll be placed in same nursing home as me someday so he gets one last chance to be mean to me.

We make our own lives difficult... others just help you accomplish it.
