The Geo division of General Motors.

I believe the Geo division of GM does not exist any longer, but they still service and maintain them.

The Geo Prizm was produced from 1990 through 1997 available as a four-door sedan or a 5-door hatchback. It was sold by General Motors but produced by Toyota. The Geo Prizm was basically a rebadged Toyota Sprinter, which was an upscale version of the Toyota Corolla.

In 1998, the name was changed to the Chevrolet Prizm after the Geo nameplate was discontinued.

You probably know that Geo is marketed by General Motors. The Prism is a rebadged Toyota Corolla. The Storm is built by Isuzu and shares is body, etc. with the Impulse. The Tracker is a Suzuki Sidekick. The Metro is made by Suzuki also. Perhaps this will help you. You should also know that the Toyota Corolla is one of the best buys according to years of Consumer Reports.

Chevrolet, a division of General Motors.

The Prism and its sister cars like the Tracker used to be produced under the label "Geo", but that's been dropped in favor of the Chevy badge.

The Prism was a rebadged Toyota Corolla. It was assembled in a plant in California 50-50 owned by GM and Toyota, (NUMMI), operated 100% by Toyota (Corollas also built there, Toyota quality in both cars). Geo was a brand name used by GM to sell rebadged cars at Chevy dealers, the name is now dead. Rick
