Any type of chemical that is not regularly in your body can have bad reactions. Vioxx was thought to be the best thing since sliced bread, then they realized it could be unsafe with certain people. It really depends on the specific person. However the worst medication i have seen dispensed was methadone, any type of narcotic, legal or not, will most likely lead to dependency, and then everything changes, from your attitude to your lifestyle. These are very unsafe for everyone.

All medications taken improperly are unsafe. Few medications taken properly are.
As to what the most dangerous is in any case, I vote for any chemotherapeuitc agent (daunarubicin, idarubicin, trisenox, etc. etc.). We pump this stuff into people's veins, but nurses have to wear heavy-duty gloves, splash-proof gowns, face masks, eye protection, and shoe covers just to place the IV bag into the pump. If a person on chemotherapy goes to the bathroom, they have to flush twice just to be sure nobody else could become contaminated.

I don't know if there is any one medication that is the most unsafe. I would say the one you suddenly learn you are allergic to is pretty unsafe. Oxycontin is bad stuff because it is so addictive. But, too much asprin can wreck your liver. Who really knows.
