After a year we had departed I started dating a friend of my ex girlfriend. My ex says I betrayed her and normal person wouldn't do this. Her words "You have beaten me below my waist".

Well I didn't know they were friends. She is a friend of her friend with whom we were friends and used to hang out.

Yes I think that was very wrong of you, because if you had any feeling for your ex at all you would not have done such a thing. One of my ex boyfriend did that to me once and I was so hurt because I still had feeling for him, and I thought he knew better but I guess not.

You broke up. That means you can both date other people. She doesn't owe you any allegiance of exclusivity, nor vice versa. You're supposed to be an adult; date whom you like.
Frankly I'm surprised you waited a year. Three months is a long enough 'time off' from dating.

I can't beleve you waited that long.
I prefer to get them while they are hot.
If she is beaten below the waist it is because she wasted you below the waist and now wants you back.
