I took 4 pregnancy tests. One, the day I was supposed to get my period, the day after, and 2 more about a week later. I was due on the 13th, it's been over two weeks and I still haven't got it. I've been getting cramps but nothing is happening and this morning I went pee like 4 times. I'm 14 years old and I read on the internet that the level of hCG is extremely low for me and I was thinking that might be why that the pregnancy tests were coming out negative.

I think that what you should do is to see a doctor. It is possible that you are and then it is also possible that you are not. Women are late with their cycles for many reason. One thing could be that you are so stressed about the possibility of being pregnant that your body has started to react physically by displaying some of the symptoms that you know pregnant women exhibit. Therefore the best thing for you to do would be to make an appointment to see your doctor and continue to wait for your period. If you don't have a doctor then speak with your parents about your options and if you don't have the type of relationship with you parents that allows you to speak to them about such sensitive matters then find some other trusted adult and get some advice, but make sure to see a doctor, continue to wait for your menstrual cycle and continue monitoring your symptoms.

Do you mean that the hgc level would be low for this stage in pregnancy?

Sometimes it does happen that a woman hgc level stays so low that an at-home test would show negative when she is pregnant, but it's not common at all.

Something else that could be happening is that you're stressing over it so much, that your stress level is causing your period to not come.

Have you taken another pregnancy test since the one when you were a week late? I guess that if I were you I'd take another, and see what result that one gives. If it's still negative, it's not very likely that you are pregnant.

Also, if you're going to be having sex, then you should think about getting on birth control (and still using condoms as a back-up, that way the chances of you getting pregnant before you're ready would be like .1%. Plus, the birth control would keep your periods very regulated, so you'd know for sure something was up if it came late again.

Okay, calm down. First, it is not at all unusual for a girl your age to have irregular periods. Second, STOP having unprotected sex. A pregnancy is not the worst thing you could end with from that kind of activity. If the guy is too immature to understand, let him walk. Third, go to Planned Parenthood ASAP. Lastly, if you do happen to be pregnant tell your parents.
Best wishes for a positive outcome.

Can you not go to a doctor? If you are pregnant, you should know, so you can talk to someone about choices. I assume you were not careful...

To all of the girls out there: PLEASE DEMAND THAT PROTECTION IS USED! It does not make sense to let a few minutes of curiosity/pleasure create a child that you do not want/are not ready for/cannot give a good future to.

Practice saying no in the mirror; carry protection; your body = your choice. This is one choice (and it is your choice to do it) that has EXTREME consequences.

Your choice, your consequence. What do you choose?

PS While you are waiting and wondering if you did create a child, plan how you will demand safe sex in the future. You are in charge of you.

Get one more test and if it is still negative I would say no you are not. Make sure you get a good quality one (yes they are more expensive) and use it exactly as the directions say. Also when selecting one make sure you get the freshest one possible by checking for an expiration date and getting one from the back of the rack, they usually put the older ones in front.

Hey kiddo, it doesn't sound to me like you're pregnant. Try not to worry (sometimes worrying can delay menstration). Please let this scare prove as a warning to you. You should be focusing on your education and a career path. Not to mention having fun being a young teen by hanging out with your gal friends (let the guys play basketball and baseball!). I'd also like to suggest that you have your mom (or a trusted relative) make a doctor's appointment for you. You need a complete physical. Take care of yourself, ok? Please?

What do you mean the hgc level is extremely low for you? There is not way to find our the actual hcg level without having a blood test. What are you doing having sex anyway? Thanks for being part of our crumbling society.

you want to be grown up by having unprotected sex, getting pregnant should be the least of your worries if you have no principles there is allways an abortion to consider or give the child up for adoption but what do you do with AIDS. try testing for that OK.

go see the doctor. only a doctor can tell you if you're pregnant. there is no way a person can tell you over the internet. and if you're only 14, why are you even suspecting that you are pregnant? aren't you a little...young?

The only way you are going to know for sure is if you take a test! I would suggest talking to your parents so even if you are not, they can get you on some form of birth control~ take care...

AND USE PROTECTION PLEASE
