Hey dude, if you can buy weed with your own money, hold a job, and stay out of trouble, I see no reason why you can't start smoking again.

Once you smoke that first spliff you'll be in love all over again....

I will speak from experience here, I have been known to occasionally puff the reefer and I am a responsible adult that provides for his family. I tried to quit and that just wasn't happening because I felt like I wanted to catch a buzz and needed it sometimes. Now there are those that will tell you that if you do it you are a bad person and this and that but I think they need to take a look in the mirror, because I have a little secret for you. Everyone does drugs, whether it is coffee in the morning or a line of coke, toking a bowl after work or drinking a beer, taking a prescribed pill or an over the counter drug. People say well drinking is ok and smoking cigs is because it is legal, well those people are obviously brainwashed because smoking cigarettes kills more people in the world than anything else, and drunks kill people after they decide that they are ok to drive. Now I don't drink or smoke (quit drinking 5 months ago and cigs 5 years ago), I can tell you that I have never felt better about the decisions to quit both of those things and no I am not going to quit pot because like every guy that says he needs a beer after work, well I need a couple of puffs from the pipe, joint, bong, whatever. First I would talk to my wife, girlfriend, significant other and try to come to an understanding about it. If you decide to puff again I am here with you if not I will think of you the next time I puff.

What family, parents? Or are you talking about a wife and kids. Stop getting stoned, you may remember the movies you see or people you meet.My EX was a pothead and I got in trouble with CPS for knowing he smoked even though I didn't smoke. They can take your kids, thats a reason to quit.If you dont have kids, prepare for the future and quit anyways.OH and so you know I think pot should be legal.I smoked it when I was a kid.11-16yrs old.People should be able to do as they please as long as it doesnt hurt others. But ask yourself this question, Is it taking time away from my wife and kids because you have to go out and smoke in secret.Or getting caught with a small amount and sleepin in jail.does it really seem worth all that.Just saying..........

First of all congratulations for making that decision it's not easy but it will get better, but there are somethings that don't help like being around friends that still do it you kind of have to change your life style and just pray and tell yourself everyday that you made the right decision , it's going to change your life your actually going to start enjoying life it's the little things that are going to start to matter and when you least know it it's going to be way back there that you just wont miss it anymore well i hope that everything works out , no i know everything is going to work out , just focus on you not on that ! god bless

Personally, I feel that as long as what you're doing isn't hurting other people or interferring with your job/social performance/responsibilities, then to each their own as to what tjhey do for extracurricular activity. It's when your life begins to revolve around those things that you're doing, that it becomes a problem.

Whenever you have those urges to stone again, try to focus your attention on something more creative and positive.
