I've tried drinking beer, eating ice cream before going to bed, and nothing happens. I'm 5'5 and weigh 110 lbs. No matter how much I try I don't gain weight. Help!

Stop moving. Don't excercise. Think of the easiest way to do things. Eat alot of cupcakes and bagels and donuts. Go for the high calorie creamcheases and frostings. Eat alot of KFC fried food. Drink milkshakes with as many meals as possible, and make a bunch of those meals McDonald's Double Quarter Pounders. Eventually your stomach will expand to handle more food, and that should lead you down the road to gaining weight.

Haha I have this problem too...But I wish I could get up to 110 lbs. I'm 5'5" also and the highest I've been able to get up to is 103...Well I can't really help that I have a high metabolism so I just eat healthy. So I advise you to just eat healthy and don't worry about it. 110 is actually a good weight!

Cripes, stop doing stuff that will clog up your arteries and kill you!

Go to GNC, R-Downs - a nutrition store and invest in a big tub of weight gain formula. It's a little pricey (in fact, you might be able to find a decent price and advice at www.bodybuilding.com), but much healthier for you than what you're doing.

Also, go to the gym and strength train. Muscle weighs a lot, and will make you look a little more bulky. (Don't worry, women can't end up looking like men unless you choke down on testosterone treatments). (http://www.tomvenuto.com) Don't cardio your brains out either... that actually will thin you out.

Go to bodybuilding.com and go to the supersite. There's a LOT of good information there, just know that the articles aren't always written by professionals (i.e. doctors and such), but by people that have learned by doing.

Please don't eat unhealthy fatty foods to gain weight. The best thing you can do is eat a healthy balanced diet, and lift weights. Muscle weighs more than fat, and you won't get flabby and gross from eating junk. I am 5'8", and I weighed 117 pounds. No matter what I ate, I couldn't gain weight. I started lifting weights 3 times a week, and after about a month, I had gain 4 pounds - - healthy pounds. . . . . Good luck!

Easy question! Lots of calorie laden meals. Are u only having this beer & ice cream snack & nothing else all day? A couple of servings of ice cream & beer a day & nothing else wont let u gain weight. Try 3 substancial meals a day. that should do it.

5'5" and 110 lbs is a good size/shape to be. I don't know why you would want to change that. Just say a "thank you" to God for making you in a way that may let you easily stay in shape. Email me if you still want to gain weight, I'm 340 pounds and know how to do it.

Why do you want to gain weight? 110 sounds about right to me. Maybe your metabolism is just really fast? Don't worry, it will slow down when you get older, and then you'll be trying to figure out how to lose weight.

you're probably also 15 and have the metabolism to match. if you want to gain weight put on muscle weight instead of fat. it's much healthier. do cardio exercising where you're using all your muscles at once. swimming is great. if you put on fat weight now when you get older it will be very difficult to lose.

Don't worry, it will happen when you're old enough. For me it was age 27. Now I can't take the weight off.

So, don't try to gain! Maintain.
