it depends on what you mean by skinny. and it depends on what your understanding of regular is. a 28 day cyle is NORMAL...but regular can fit in to every 24 to 35 days. irregular would be if you got your period at 24 days one month, 37 days the next month, 27 days the next month...and so on. with that said, not sure what causes some ladies to have an irregular period. but i think that some girls just do, and it is also hereditary. f you are young---i have heard that periods can be irregular for the first few years. however, if you have been regular...for ex...28 day cyle and then suddenly are irregular---something might be causing it like dramatic weightloss or weightgain, stress...lots of other causes. if no cause--going on the pill can regulate a period to a 28 day cycle. hope that helps.

You get water gain with the pill and no more then five pounds. If you stay active and keep on drinking tons of water you won't gain so much. The pill will make you have regular periods. It will also make PMS better, lessen cramps, and clear up your face.

There is no exact awnser. Every girl has a diffirent cycle. Even tough sometimes you are late, that does not mean you are irregular. However, if being healthy is the case, than that will help make it on time.

Age has a lot to do with regularity. If you are very young it is normal to have erratic periods. It sometimes takes time to becom regular. If you are concerned, see a doctor.

About the only thing I know of that will absolutely ensure regularity and timeliness is the pill. It will also make your periods shorter. One of the side effects though is a bit of weight gain (not a ton though).

There are a lot more things involved in regulating a woman's menstrual cycled than just weight and general health.
Your question is too vague to answer "yes" or "no".
