I found out that my husband of less than one month was talking about having sex with other people online. He says he only did it because I lived in another state and he was bored and that he was just saying things to be saying them. He swears it won't happen again. He's apologized for it. Was this cheating? How do I trust him again?

Why were you living in another state if only married for one month?

Yes it is cheating. Don't trust him again. My uncle cheated on my aunt and she forgave him he did it again and again. She forgave him four times before she finally left but he continued to do it. Once they do something like that they will always do it even if they say they won't. I'm so sorry this happened. He shouldn't have said that he only did it because you lived in another state. That isn't an excuse. I would leave him if i were you. I'm so sorry and I hope this helped you.

Only you know in your heart whether or not he is sincere. The best thing to do is weigh your pros and cons in your marriage if the good out weighs the bad then you may have a chance to pick up the pieces of your marriage. You need to remember there will always be a trust issue because everytime you see him on the computer you are going to wonder whether or not if he is doing the same thing. You may want to try marriage counseling.

Been there....get him into counseling and CANCEL your internet service. But then if there is a will, there is a way. Mine did the sex online/porn crap for several years. Then, he REALLY cheated on me...One thing leads to another. ONCE A CHEATER, ALWAYS A CHEATER!!!!

Nope. Get out. Fools don't deserve love. My boyfriend hurt me badly, but I stayed with him after chasing his sorry a-ss down while he shed "holy crap I am caught" tears (he is now pusssy-whipped, so I can't complain). Granted, he wasn't talking like a fat slutt to girls on the internet. Either way, keep your own on him...he probably isn't a good bargain like most men. My empathy is with you, darling.

without trust
a relationship is headed for doom.
You have to try to give that trust again.
But not
again, and again and agian. There will come a point when you
have to say enough is enough.

If he really loved you he would not have been online talking about having sex with other people.

His excuse is lame, watch out for him, he's proving he's not the trustworthy type.
