Not a lot of bads in that group -- unless you count location (Some people might not like Baltimore or New York -- and Cornell is in the middle of nowhere).

They are all highly selective schools, so narrowing your choices wouldn't improve your chances.

Instead, you should widen it -- put in a good state school or slightly less selective -- but still good -- private university to improve your odds of getting in somewhere good.

You've got three top universities there, maybe four with NYU - make sure that your grades are perfect, and your SAT/ACT is in the very top percentiles.

Even if you are a top-notch student, you should add another school or two that you can be sure of acceptance. This is usually a public university, a state school. Also take a look at your specific career path. If you are interested in Law, or Medicine, or Computer Science, you may find that one of the Ivy Leagues (princeton and cornell) might be a notch lower than the other.

i would say Hopkins is a top school for medicine, i have also heard alto of good things about Cornell, i was given guaranteed transfer admissions to the ILR at Cornell, but i have done a lot of research on it and if you don't mind the location its a pretty good school! good luck:)

Hey there.

My answer would be bias as I currently attend NYU. If you want a top tier education in the very center of one the most amazing cities in the world, and don't mind paying the highest tuition in the world, NYU is it.

i wouldn't go to cornell. it has the highest suicide rates. Doubt you want to get yourself into that. I'd go for NYU.

Try the University of Colordao at Boulder. It's devine.
