I had a song wrote for me back in mid 70s (Girlscout event Anyways it happened back in 74, when I started to get those phone calls saying I was one lucky GS I owed. But an event that went into name calling for NOT knowing who one was, as I waited for the maiterde I fell in love with that was suppose to meet me in hallway the motel..But broke into an argument not knowing they were all together. History repeated itself in the 80s and more namecalling into attacks on me on television. When all I was looking for was a reunion and answers ... My fincee broke into fight with me and i lost my child, When he seen him return, then commited sucide saying he wasnt rich. Not to mention being laughed at among peers.. kicked out of my chatrooms because celebs dont lie" and made fun over the death of my child and fiancee... When I went looking during a performance of Santa and me, which Tony knew I was there.
He insinuated on lies looking at us...I loved the fact I had a song.. it was so simple as just a reunion..But once again it turned into name calling and watching him run without explination...I put in his name on search went to a web-site to see my song was labled as being 1971!!! No it was NOT!!! Now I feel its taken what all I had left and I do know how websites lie now, Including him, and how fast he can push his singers through that door and back up to the verterns organization as doing no wrong. YES IT HURTS (plus that song was never sang to me, he was told how i would save my money to return to Toronto looking for a maiterde!!) could of saved me time and MONEY! and I thank god for those like JIM HENSON! and JAY LENO!!

yes! All the time! The thing I love most about music is that not only can it take you back to a particular time in your life, but also that it can make you feel sooo good. If you relate a particular song to a bad memory, it's very difficult to listen to.

There's a song called "What might have been" that doesn't necessarily remind me of a particular time in my life, but the words hit too close to home and it is very painful to listen to.

Yeah, The District Sleeps Alone Tonight by Death Cab For Cutie does it for me. It brings back memories of regret, from a relationship where I screwed things up. At times the song even makes me feel sick to my stomach. Yet for some odd reason, I can't stop listening to it...

Yes. Barbara Streisand's beautiful song "The Way We Were"
was marred for me by the deaths of some close family members and changes that came about in the lives of some very close friends. I cannot listen to it anymore without tears.
