Who said they're non violent? We had 4 church burnings just 2 years ago.

Separate societies are never equal, that is the whole reason for separation, to be unequal.
That is the main reason why the supreme court struck down the doctrine of "separate but equal" in education in 1950s. The doctrine was really an apartheid system in education and throughout society.
That said, the KKK has a long and continued history of brutality, ignorance, and violence. Even today they attempt to play whites and blacks off against each other by marching through black communities to try to create fear. Their racism is unscientfic and their fundamentalist religion is despotic, authoritarian, and evil.
If you want to associate with the dregs of society hang out with these guys. You cannot get any lower.

Because they promote hatred of people based on race, sexual orientation and religion. Whether it's violent or not (although some members are still very violent) it's inappropriate in my opinion to believe that someone is beneath you for any reason. But, the fact remains that as long as they obey the law, the Ku Klux Klan members can believe and practice whatever they wish.

Actually, it's even scarier than violence, if you want my opinion. More insidious, more likely to get people to join. Just what we need: A larger group of people thinking they're better than others. We don't need any more of those.

What is wrong with hiring a female to babysit your baby who has a history of shaking babies to death--She DOESN'T do it anymore. She has served time in prison. It is all behind her, she assures all.
Answer: Why even consider the worst when you need the BEST. !?
