If you don't like America, why don't you just go away?

I've been reading a lot tonight how horrible the US is, how we are such bullies, and terrorrists'. So if we are so bad, why are you here? Would you sit in the Yankee section of a baseball game and cheer for the Red Sox? Of course not, so why in the h#!! would you live in the US and root against us? As the Wife of a US Soldier fighting in Iraq, so you lazy, arrogant, self righteous jerks can sit here and gripe, I have to say this is our country, if you don't like it then leave it! So tell me why are you here??

ps.. I'm not right, wing, I'm actually a liberal! As for the slut comments, wow that's impressive, maybe next time you can try to spell 5 letter words. As for footing the bill so you can move, honey, I'm not that liberal! Try getting a job, the military always needs test dummies.

Great comment and I agree with you. But the problem with the complainers is that they fear being asked to pay the price of freedom. So real men like your husband have to pay their share as well as their own. Its the way it has always been. The cowards sit at home and complain, while those who believe in protecting our liberty are out there risking all.
I also see that one of the cowards are asking you to go and do what he refuses to do, what he probably doesn't understand is that you would, and ARE doing something, simply by expressing what you have.

And to those ultra liberals who say they would like to move. Please, don't let the door hit your a$$ on the way out. Unlike most of the boneheads that are saying such drivel, I have actually been to most of the continents around the world. I have seen firsthand how life is in dozens of different cultures. From Europe to the Middle East, and the Far East. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING compares to the United States.

Yes Chrissy I would sit in the Yankee stands and cheer for the Red Sox, but not because I hate the Yankees. America is a great nation and why because people stood up for what was right. The trouble these days is that it is harder and harder to figure out what is right. Just because George W. thinks a war should happen doesn't make it right. But the US is in Iraq and I think it was needed but knowing when to get out is also something that should be considered, don't just stay there because of your statements about democracy and all that stuff Mr. Bush has come out with in the past. I think the real issue here is to be aware of what else might be happening while everyone focuses on the right now. Often in history things are planned out way in advance just to do something else when everyone is focused on the here and now. Great planners, like chess players, are able to win out because they have a plan way down the road. It may be sort of mind boggling but try to figure out why they are doing what they are doing now so that they can do something else perhaps totally off the topic in about one years time. I hope your husband returns enriched from his experiences in Iraq.

Well, the problem is, we've made such a mess of this country that other countries won't just " let Americans in " anymore. They see how horrible things are getting here and how we just keep electing the idiots we have into office and they don't want their country or their way of life or their political system polluted by stupid Americans.

Chrissy, please understand that criticizing the actions of the U.S. Government is one of the most patriotic things an American can do. It's at the foundation of our democracy. Most Americans who get angry at our government do it because they love America, so they're very protective of it. They don't want it to lose its freedoms and they want to see our politicians be honest and accountable. Without critics, America would lose its freedom and never improve.

Isn't that really what the American dream is - The struggle for more freedom and prosperity every day for all Americans? Most Americans who criticize the country are an important part of that struggle. They would never leave. They feel a deep responsibility to America and its future.

I know I do.

wanted to say props to you and your husband. i have been over there 3 times now and getting ready to deploy for a forth. I've asked this many of times and you'll never get a straight answer. sorry, everyone that b**ches about the USA is just self centered and lives a sheltered life. they also realize they wouldn't be able to live their life anywhere else because they don't have the freedom we give them. only thing you can really tell them is to kiss your a*s and go about your own business. there is no reason for you to waste you breath on these selfish f**ks.. thnx for your support and just think about number one right now ( your family )
