Put in the author, title, publication date and publisher to get an exact match. Different editions may be valued differently. Condition plays an important part in value of old books too.

It has certainly lost its copyright. But you could check out the auction fairs that are held in most states. They have experts come over from Christies and Sothebys to evaluate antique items.
