Turn off the news. That is where you are getting these dreams from.

You'd be surprised to know that your dream is a good one.

According to dreamology, dreams about death are positive and good.

Any chance that there has been some serious change in your life lately. I mean big things like graduation, college, a move, or anything that changed your whole life?

Usually, a dream about death means that something in your life is coming to an end, and something in your life is about to begin. Because the dream was on a planetary scale, I will conclude that the change affected the rest of your life, or will. Fear not though. It means the end of something and the beginning of something else. The planes in your dream represent your means of escape. Your anxiety is probably due to your insecurity of the coming situation. This will make you feel ill inside. You are likely a person that just doesn't like change even if the change is for the better. Some people rather live in a bad situation just because of the security of knowing what to expect. Let the change come...

Maybe your dreams would be calmer if you eased up on the wackatabacky.

As far as what dreams mean, I'd say nothing. They're just a way for our brains to stay active during sleep in the absence of stimuli. Sleeping is also important to the memory process, so dreams often take us through the event of the day or our past. In the case of an original dream like yours, who knows? It propbably recurred because it made an impression on you and you thought about it a lot. And you probably felt depressed because you didn't get enough sleep.

Dreams about the end of the world are almost always about the end of your own (inner) world. They warn you that (if you go on this way) you will end up in the state that you're in in your dream.

If you're living in a way that is not responsible enough, you can destroy your own mind & consciousness, doing this. Having to continue life with much less consciousness, with much less feelings than you lived with up to now. Sometimes you get these dreams when you have a problem that's too big for you, and you want to solve it the wrong (irresponsible) way, doing things you should not do.

'The world' in your dreams is: 'your inner world'. The skies are 'your inner skies'. Red is the color of problems, you could say. Because these dreams do not only want to warn your intellect, but also your feelings, you feel helpless and very bad, having these dreams, and sometimes you have these feelings the whole day (or more days) after the dream. The feelings that you have after the dream generally show you, how your feelings in reality will be.
The idea of 'warning dreams' is, that it's better to experience this in a dream, and be warned, than in reality (because no one warned you this could happen).

You have some kind of anxiety going on right now. The world is not ending. Did you watch Armageddon? All joking aside... don't put too much stock in these dreams. They may mean something, and then again, may not. I think you are just anxious. Maybe you have too many responsibilities and feel like you have a lot of pressure at this time. Don't worry. Be happy!

Really... try not to be depressed... change of scenery or change of routine. That always helps me.

:)

It's called the 'news' Try watching TVland to cure this. You may have dreams about Lucillle ball stuffing chocolate in her blouse, or if you are really lucky, about Barbara Eden in that harem outfit!

Hmm, what if you mixed the two: Condoleeze Rice stuffing IEDs in her harem top while George Bush looked at the red sky and blue sky and tried to figure out if one was Republican and the other LIberal Whiners?

Now that, THAT is a nightmare.

Seriously, your nightmare seems to indicate classis stressors with things beyond your control.. Try to take a break from all of the doom and gloom news and spend time doing happy things.

I'm sure you have heard of premeritions. It's the act of having a dream or daydream of something thats going to happen and then it does. Such thing does exist. It is weird and not very common but some people are gifted. It's a type of psychic powers. I know that sound kind of stupid but I could'nt think of a more elaborite scientific way of saying it.

Dreaming the end of the world could mean you may have some problems coping with new environment.

Sky red, no electricity = changes.

You may be into some sort of changes or you are afraid of changes and therefore, in your dream, you project all these disasters. However, that means subconsciously you are willing to accept changes. That is one of the fear you may have in you life.

I am not an interpreter of dreams, but I do know they are a reflection of your inner thoughts and emotions. I also know they aren't always what they seem, for example to dream of death doesn't always mean some one is going to die. If I were you I would go to your local book store an pick up a copy of a dream dictionary. Try looking up some of the images from your dream. Good luck!!!

Oh, those dreams are scary. Sometimes, i have trouble falling asleep because i know that the world will end someday. Maybe you're dreaming about the things you wish would never happen. Or, did you talk about the world dieing before you went to sleep? Sometimes, whatever you talk about goes in your sleep. It happens to me. I hope you don't have that dream again!

Means absolutely nothing as far as what is to come - that's a fact.

don't listen to any horseshi*t.

We often have dreams based on something that has entered our mind somehow and is bouncing around in there at night in our active subconscious. Not much more to it than that. Did you see a similar movie or read a book with stuff like that?? Anyway - not to worry.
