Piggrumpy sorta comes close. Sorta.

Miner's Ink is the newsletter for New Mexico Tech's Literary and Art Magazine and Club. [officially, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology] The papers' catch phrase is "Submit Your Soul."

Probably because it is the literary and art group putting the newsletter together Submit Your Soul just makes reference to the fact that many writers and artists bare their souls in the creation of their work.

Did some more reading, the newsletter bit the dust, but now the Annual is called Miner's Ink. The newsletter has been renamed Scope.

Here is a site referencing Miner's Ink. It's on page two: http://infohost.nmt.edu/~scope/archive/31mar2006.pdf

Here is a site referencing "miner's asthma" where the miners spit up "ink", a combination of coal dust and mucus from the lungs: http://www.historycooperative.org/cgi-bin/justtop.cgi?act=justtop&url=http://www.historycooperative.org/journals/ahr/105.2/br_70.html
