Replace it with a Stock Muffler. I think they sound the best stock. v6 engines tend to get a bit raspy and wheezy sounding with a louder muffler. But...I am getting older...and when I was young I would have put an 18" GlassPack on it for about 15 bucks and called it good. If you have some more money, some of the higher end Turbo Mufflers flow really nice and sound good too. I mean the mufflers that are about 100 bucks...all Stainless with fully welded seams...a good muffler...not one of those $29.95 turbo specials.
PLEASE avoid the giant soup can types I see on all the 'boy racer wannabe' guys are putting on imported economy cars...they REALLY sound bad and look idiotic! Good Luck and have some FUN with it!
Try taking the muffler off and see how you like the sound...might like it with just the Catalytic Converter and a pipe to the back!
