The pressure could just be the baby's head pressing down!! and the discharge could be her mucus plug!! Could be parents real soon!!
Congratulations!!

Clear/slimy stuff is probably her mucous plug, which loosens as the cervix begins to efface and dilate. The pressure could be a result of the baby dropping lower into the pelvic cavity. Both are great signs that labor is on it's way! Congratulations!

The pain could be from her body streching and making room for baby. If the pain is coming in bursts every 5-10 minutes, go to the doctor. As for the clear slimy stuff, a womans body goes through all sorts of changes during pregnancy. She should be okay as long as there is no itching or burning.

The slimy stuff is her mucous plug (a plug of mucous that is released when the cervix first begins to open) and the pain is likely just her pubic symphesis (gap in the female pubic bone that widens too allow the head through more easiely) widening. She probably isn't in labor, but you will know. If she has regular pains that she can't talk through or pay attention to anything during then she's likely in labor. Best wishes

Oh man yr wife is gonna deliver soon!! The pain/pressure around her vaginal area may cause by the muscle contraction episodes around her uterine. Is it very serious and how frequent is the pain/pressure? Your question isn't specific enough. Is her exact due date upon delivery near? As she near her delivery, the Braxton Hicks (false labour) contractions become more frequent and intense and are even confused for the beginning of labour by some women. Vaginal discharge maybe dued to the contraction.Increased white-colored vaginal discharge (leukorrhea) which may contain more mucus is one of the changes during their 3rd trimester.

Anyway since you have consulted your wife O&G, nothing to worry about. If the condition is so serious, off hand the doctor would have told u over the phone.

The pressure means she has dropped (the baby has descended into the pelvis).

The "clear slimy stuff" is normal discharge as long as it doesn't get a color or have a funky smell ~ her hormones increase the amount the further along she is.

As long as there is not a constant flow of a very watery substance (amniotic fluid) and the pressure does not turn into contractions, then she is not in labor.

good luck and congrats!

The clear discharge is completely normal and increases as the pregnancy progresses. The pain could be nothing or it might be the baby dropping and putting pressure in that area. I am glad you called the doctor and good luck!

She's probably losing the mucus plug that keeps germs from getting to the uterus. This is a sign that labor will begin soon, which is also the cause of the increased pressure. Hope things go great for you three!!

Much Love!! & congrats!

quiet down before everything. It seems such as you will possibly no longer waiting to settle for which you would be pregnant. this is beneficial to think of issues out somewhat. ok as a guy or woman who has taken a good style of being pregnant try i'm able to enable you be responsive to that it is not significant how gentle or dark the strains are in the event that they look then this is a good. For some try after your urine dries the strains fade. i might pass to a physician to verify.

my wife is 39 weeks and is having the same thing. The pain is the babies head pushing on the cervix and it hurts because the cervix is sensitive. the slime could be the mucous plug. You should go to labor and delivery to make sure, but we were told it is normal and our baby checked out healthy. Good luck!
