Try GMax.com. Its the base software used to develop games like Dungeon Siege and a great start off point for would be graphic artists.

I remember o long ago a old computer I had Public Domain software but it is going to cost you two or three dollars for the program disk. I do not know if it still exist. The graphics were really bland black and white stincle point blocks add very
back dated....I took a look at the old systemApple Attari and Comidor 64 the computer games you had to read to play in a maze. Black and Gray was the only color monitor...
I took word processing when it first came out 80's and we had so many systems to hop to in class and I knew If I could get all the computers to talk to each other on the same language program I could be rich. I had not contact with Bill Gates but I knew somebody would make it rich if they could do it. Use up to date systems and get up off the dough. Unless you want to hook up some old junker for the free digital out of date image Step ON Up
Embrace the new... I need to spend some dough too.

Depends on what kind... you can go to www.download.com to find trials for ones and see if you like it enough to buy it.
