The physics of 9/11 — including how fast and symmetrically one of the World Trade Center buildings fell — prove that official explanations of the collapses are wrong, says a Brigham Young University physics professor.

In fact, it's likely that there were "pre-positioned explosives" in all three buildings at ground zero, says Steven E. Jones.

In a paper posted online Tuesday and accepted for peer-reviewed publication next year, Jones adds his voice to those of previous skeptics, including the authors of the Web site www.wtc7.net, whose research Jones quotes. Jones' article can be found here.

Jones, who conducts research in fusion and solar energy at BYU, is calling for an independent, international scientific investigation "guided not by politicized notions and constraints but rather by observations and calculations.

"It is quite plausible that explosives were pre-planted in all three buildings and set off after the two plane crashes — which were actually a diversion tactic," he writes. "Muslims are (probably) not to blame for bringing down the WTC buildings after all," Jones writes.

Even if it were true that explosives were planted (which it is not) how can he jump to the conclusion that Muslims had nothing to do with 9/11 when virtually every fact we know including confession points to them. It is a fact that planes hit the towers, the damage they did was to such a level it took out a section of one floor from still photos taken.

Building 7 was a secret building, with a bunker on the 23 floor
(I belive it was that floor but it was in the building)

It will never be told but most likley the government stored explosives, chemicals and various weapons in that building.

( maybe the remains of space aliens ??)

The damage and fire and loss of electrical power would have cuased serious problems to the chemicals and weapons stored there. so the heat from the one fire, loss of cooling would have cuased reactions to items stored in that building.

So did the government have something to do with it, yes in the fact that they stored very dangerous things in the building. Not that they planted any bombs, just hiding things there that should not be there.

I think that this guy wants some publicity!! The towers fell because of the heat that jet fuel burns at is so high that it melted the steel and course it to implode. Bld 7 is already rebuilt so how can they find explosives in something that doesn't exist anymore except as garbage. This nonsense is getting to be more than annoying. Wow! I never thought about it that way! I guess we shouldn't have gone after those murderous Islamic terrorists after all. Because if we killed 3,000 of our own people in the buildings and all 4 airplane loads of people, then obviously they were right to try to kill us.

Why would there be preplanted explosives in these several buildings? To what end? Who would have planted these explosives under the scrutiny of the entire world media who were filming everything by that point? How does a Physics professor in Utah know more about what brought the buildings down than the professional investigators who thoroughly checked everything out firsthand?

Since Jones' paper has not been published in a scientific journal, there are some academicians, including some from Jones' own university, who question whether the article has been properly vetted by other experts in the field.[5] Some of Jones' colleagues disagree with his theory regarding the collapse of the towers. The BYU physics department has issued a statement: "The university is aware that Professor Steven Jones's hypotheses and interpretations of evidence regarding the collapse of World Trade Center buildings are being questioned by a number of scholars and practitioners, including many of BYU's own faculty. Professor Jones' department and college administrators are not convinced that his analyses and hypotheses have been submitted to relevant scientific venues that would ensure rigorous technical peer review." The Fulton College of Engineering and Technology department has also added, "The structural engineering faculty in the Fulton College of Engineering and Technology do not support the hypotheses of Professor Jones.".[6]

D. Allan Firmage, Professor Emeritus, Civil Engineering, Brigham Young University[7] responded to an article from the Provo Daily Herald which detailed a presentation that Steven Jones had recently given, and remarked that after reading reports from FEMA, the American Society of Civil Engineers and from several other professional engineering organizations, as well as the Steven Jones report, that, "I find Professor Jones' thesis that planted explosives (rather than fire from the planes) caused the collapse of the Towers, very unreliable." Dr. Firmage also stated that, "Before one (especially students) supports such a conspiracy theory, they should investigate all details of the theory. To me a practicing structural engineer of 57 continuous years (1941-1998), Professor Jones' presentations are very disturbing.".[8]

Jones is Co-Chair of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, an organization currently petitioning Congress for the release of evidence, including almost 14,000 pictures and videos held by NIST of the World Trade Center site on the day of the attacks. Jones is hoping for the release of this evidence for his controlled demolition hypothesis paper.[citation needed]

In June 2006, Jones appeared at the 9/11 + The Neo-Con Agenda Symposium in Los Angeles, California,[9] organized by Alex Jones. [10] At the conference, Steven Jones delivered a speech regarding the existence of Thermate-TH3 in the debris of the towers.[11]

Jones does not identify himself as either a Democrat or Republican, but does "support the Constitution" Jones has been described as "a devout Mormon and, until recently, a faithful supporter of George W. Bush".[citation needed]

Jones is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to his research in scientific areas, he has also published papers on archeological clues supporting the LDS belief that Jesus Christ visited Latin America after his resurrection. Yes it is possible that explosives were planted. But also remember that buildings such as this are usually built by the lowest bidder who may use a lot of sand in the concrete. Remember most bridges are built by the lowest bidder, when you are sitting on one, the water is high and you have to wait for a train to pass.

The "Official Story" of 9/11 is the REAL conspiracy theory. There is no doubt that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were orchestrated by the criminal elite of the U.S Government. 3. WTC7 COLLAPSE:

(The building that was 300 feet away from the twin towers that mysteriously collapsed onto itself on 9/11. There were buildings closer to WTC twin towers that were damaged much more severely that stand to this day. It was not hit by any aircraft.

4. OPERATION NORTHERN VIGILANCE AND ABLE DANGER:

It just so happens that there were drills ON 9/11 that were carried out by NORAD that simulated planes going into WTC towers and the Pentagon…(There were also drills in London during the 7/7 bombings simulating the same exact event) Coincidence? I think not. This drill also incorporated fake “blips” on the radar screen to indicate the simulated highjacked planes. With this drill going on there were 22 suspicious dots that NORAD could not distinguish from being real or fake. This “well timed” drill confused NORAD.

5. OSAMA BIN LADEN “CONFESSION” TAPE:

This is the only proof Osama was behind the attacks and it obvious the video was manufactured propaganda. For one, even though the video is grainy and of low quality, it’s obviously not Bin Laden. In the video he is writing something on a notepad with his RIGHT hand. Bin Laden is LEFT handed. A gold ring is also visible on his ring finger. Gold jewelry is forbidden for religious reasons.

Osama also said that he never attacked us. He said that it would have been against his religion to attack a group of people unprovoked.

OFFICAL STORY: Fire from within the WTC buildings weakened the steel within the structure causing it to collapse...No building with a steel frame structure ever fell because of fire… Not to mention lease owner of the WTC complex Larry Silverstein said himself that he "pulled" the building...A common demolition term for "demolish".

It takes weeks and weeks to plan a demolition. I guess Silverstein had a demolition team go into WTC7, Analyze the structure, unpack the explosives, set up the charges, and demolish it in about 8 hours. All during the biggest national crisis this generation has seen.

How about all the witness testimony saying they have heard and felt explosions within the WTC towers?

You should be ashamed with yourself and just feel lucky it wasn't YOU or any of your family that died that day. While I may not totally agree with our governments actions afterwards I could never disrespect those that are scarred from this attack.
