get one of those clear little breeder tanks that hang on the inside of the tank.or a breeder net serves the same purpose, buy some food for frye they do sell it in most pet stores and grind it up some more in ur fingers so its dust like,do this until they are big enough to put in the tank with the adults.this will keep them from getting eaten by the larger fish.

If you want your fry to survive you may need a breeders net to place them into so that the other fish in the tank don't eat them. Yes the female swordtails will eat the fry. You can feed them finely, crushed flake food that you are feeding the parents. Feed them about 3 times a day and keep the water/net clean as you can. They should grow for you. Don't overfeed too much. you don't want them living in dirty conditions.
Best of luck.

First you should try and catch the fry(babies), and put them in a nursery. Go to the pet store and ask for one, if you don't have one already. Then all I do is grind up the regular, but good fish food, the flakes. Just make it so it's almost like sand, in your fingers is fine. And just see if they eat that, not too much though.

first of all, quarentine them , get them away from the larger fish.move them to another tank or put them in a small net enclosure in the main tank.as for feeding them, just grind flakes into a fine powder, that will suffice.feed them only a minute amount until they grow a little, then , just like any other fish, feed them only what they can consume within just a few minutes.when the fry get large enough, release them back into the main tank.p.s., just remember only 1 inch of fish to 1 gallon of water as they grow or you might lose them all.

Best fishfood for all new fry is baby brine shrimp. Failing that, go for something like Interpets' Liquifry, contains everything a growing fish needs. When they're big enough go for crushed flake food

they will eat the fine food for fry. you need to keep lots of plants in the tank for them to hide in. you can also use the artifical grass that babies hide in when born. most bigger fish will eat little ones most important part is they need lots of hiding places. you can also crush fish flakes up very fine. you think they are not eating . they are. buy good nutritious food for live bearers. they will grow fast on good food not cheap stuff
