why do people try and get their questions answered by posting them 4 times?

Profits.

Many people will buy both the first and second albums, so making the original set of songs earn them $ twice.

Of course the trick is the timing; wait for enough time to have elapsed so that hardcore fans have bought the first album, and just as sales flag, before interest dies off, issue the second.

Because they're like every other company - they'll take your money any way you're willing to give it. They're not in it for the love of music or any such thing. It's a profit-making venture.

to maske more money out of you, same reason they release them in several different formats, all with slightly different tracks, more you buy, more they make.
