As a person I can not say. I have never had the pleasure of meeting her. As a singer, with the right song, she has a very unique voice that is very powerful. As a dancer, I would love for her to use those moves in another occupation. She is a wonder to watch. Over all, I could fall in love with her, and would never have a problem taking her to meet my mother. Great person, and beautiful also.

Though she's said to sing like a bleeding goat (that's what I read about her in earlier years) I think she's a very talented gal...I haven't heard her in too many interviews..but I enjoy her videos..I have her Dirty Laundry (I think that's what it's called?) She's a very cute kid and I think she's mastered shakin' what God gave her...Her parents are probably a very nice looking couple I imagine! Thumbs up by the SmileyCat : )

i have no idea how someone with a voice like Shakira's could EVER get a record deal... sure she's a great dancer... but she should stick to that and keep her piehole shut.

i liked her spanish music, but she is very talented in whatever she does.
she is beautiful and yes she can shake those hips and do that belly dance we all wish we could do, but all and all she seems to be a very humble person from what i have seen in interviews.

I liked her better when she had darker hair, and a little more meat on her. I also think she should just stick to the spanish music.
