The directions I have are unclear do all remotes need to be reprogramed at the same time? Do I have to reprogram the one that is currently working.

If your jeeps like GMC the dealer will be of no help. And it cant be reprogrammed if its an after-market alarm.

Go to the dealer, they can do it in about 5 minutes. Stop wasting your time. If you are not qualified to repair vehicles then you should go to someone who is.
My shop charges double when we have to fix the customers FU*K Up!
