I am 36 weeks pregnant (2nd pregnancy) and just wanted to know about a couple of things. I have sharp pain in my cerix every so often. I have had them for a while and I'm just wondering what causes that. Also sometimes when I lay down I wake up vomiting or trying to. I'm not nauseated or anything just vomiting.

I am 39 weeks and have experienced similar pain and vomiting. My Dr says the cervical pain is actually the baby's head and the vomiting is caused by the stomach being displaced as the baby grows. I only vomit if I happen to cough just after eating or drinking, not after lying down, but I'm sure it's the same cause. This is my 2nd pregnancy also. I did not experience these symptoms last time but the entire pregnancy is different. This one is much lower than my son was. Hope that helps.

Different areas time what they do at what talk over with in a different way, however I believe so much areas do a vaginal ultrasound throughout the primary talk over with (typically round 7 or eight weeks). This will affirm that the being pregnant is possible. They'll additionally take a urine pattern and probably do a bodily examination. I believe I had blood paintings performed throughout the second or third talk over with, however I'm certain a few areas do this throughout the primary talk over with as good. Walking is best activity, as is so much slight activity. Bouncing and leaping round don't seem to be a well suggestion, and I might preclude touch physical games altogether. If you cross to an enjoyment park, you will not be amused a lot...Don't journey curler coasters whilst pregnant!! Most of the rides even record being pregnant as a no-no for the complete "You have to be this tall to journey" indicators. If I had been you, I'd permit your boyfriend cross with a pal and also you take a seat the shuttle out. There's no factor in you running round within the scorching solar while you are not able to even benefit from the rides. Congrats!

The cervical pain is your ligaments complaining. They are stretched so you will get sharp shooting pains on the sides of your belly and your pubic area, also if your baby has dropped, you will feel alot of pressure on your pubic bone from its head. The vomiting could be from your blood pressure when your laying down. Try getting up slowly from that position. This always seemed to help me. Good Luck with the next couple of weeks.

the pain is probly the babys movement..preparing itself in the birth canal.

but the vomiting is what they call morning sickness..and yes it can come later in pregnancy....try preggie pops to see if they relieve the vomiting...if they dont go to your dr.

I don't mean to scare your but..you need to call your GYN. You could have high blood pressure and be endangering yourself and the baby.
