martin guitars are supposed to be an american made product i bought one without looking inside of guitar for a label that says made in america later on i noticed the label said made in mexico

Maybe the dx1 is a low end model. I have a Fender strat made in
the USA, which rocks. Fender also sells guitars made in Mexico, which are a lot cheaper and are junk. Good things arent cheap and cheap things arent good.

The factory is in Nazareth, Pennsylvania and I always thought they were all made there. You can email them & ask. Hope you didn't buy a fake!!
