childhood. two weeks b4 kindergarden started i was playing at the playground and this girl who just learned how to swing taught me. at school i found out she was my age (we had played multiple times at the park since but didn't ask) and that weekend i had my very first sleepover. i actually went to her home, but yeah

I met my "female" bestest friend (Lori) in a yahoo prayer group we both belonged to in the late 90's. We have been friends ever since!
My met my "male" bestest friend (and my current boyfriend), right here on Yahoo answers 4 months ago!

I was 5 years old and she lived in the house behind mine. We've been best friends for many many years! I met another great friend when I moved far away from my home town to accept a job. She showed me the ropes of living in a big city. We still keep in touch.

Definitely at college. It's easier to forge lasting friendships among people who, by deciding to go to college, committed to thinking and learning. I only have a couple of friends from high school because we highschoolers just partied and acted stupid.

i have made some new friends on the internet because i really do not have many friends 2 as a matter of fact and neither one is my spouse. i pray to have a best friend soon. It takes time for 2 people to become that close.

Junior High....then we lost each other along the way. We've been hanging out again for about the past 3 years. Since we found each other again on Classmates.com

I met my best friend Leslie through my mom. My mom worked with her mom at Levi Strauss and my mom got her mom to babysit. We were both 10. She lived exactly two blocks from me same house number!
We experienced EVERYTHING together and I mean EVERYTHING! It was awesome....
We went through jr high, and high school together and still talk and share our lives together (over the phone, as she is in PA and me in TX)... Today, we are both 36 yrs old!
