Rightclick on the my computer Icon. Goto Properties and its listed there along with the amount of ram you have.

simple in a windows based system you can type: dxdiag.exe in the run command window.
click start, run then type dxdiag.exe (with or without the .exe) this should run the directx diagnostics utility. this utiltity will not only provide the processor info but in addition it will provide you with your current ram MB and other things. it will also help you to diagnose your sytems graphics and audio settings.
it should have said what CPU you have on the packaging of the PC.
the Processor model is normaly available on the boot screen when the system is powered up, so just have your display panel on before you boot your system and keep watching your display.

It is simple as a piece of cake.
click on start menu then click on run type their DXDIAG.
A windows will appear that contains all information of your computer for example processor, ram, video card....

click on "START" > Click on "My Computer" >
You should have " System tasks" on left Conner >
Click on " View system information"
The information should be include your window version, registration number, Processor, Ram and so on.

You can find the info in your device manager or google CPU-Z and download it and run it. This utility will tell you the make and model of your CPU, mainboard and RAM.

point your cursor at......start/all programs/accessories/system tools/sytem info
or right click over the icon "My Computer" click properties and you will see your processor type/speed and how much memory you have
