if u bought it at circuit city u should of bought the protection plan cuz i can get it replaced even if it has scratches

You can buy a disc doctor at gamestop for like 30 or 40 dollars. Or you can put some rubbing alcohol and put it on a clean cloth and rub it on the back side then dry it and it might work. I did it once and it did work.

I repair game systems at a video store and we have a $2,000 disk buffer that makes most all scraches disapeer. It works great. See if there is a store in your area that buffs disks. It only costs our customers $2.00 a disk.

go to a block buster and ask them to use there disc cleaner it takes off a layer of plastic on the disc and then the game works perfect and it is really cheap!!

at most game stores they have a packet with these cloth's that clean and fix cd's. it comes with something like five for, like, $4.

if there is a cd trading post store in your area take it there. for a $5.00 membership fee they will fix as many cd"s as you want for a year
