You are right to an extent. People do not know how their government works and they don't know what the candidates they vote for want to do and how they want to do it. They are totally uneducated.

The biggest problem we have is there are only two major parties. And any time one or the other controls both houses of Congress and the White House we are in trouble. The fact we only have two major parties is caused by our electoral college being a winner takes all system.

There is another problem we have allowed OUR politicians to be influenced (totally corrupted actually)by lobbyists.

IF I were prince of the planet. There would be no political parties. In fact they would be banned. Electoral college votes would be allocated by the percentage of votes candidates got in each state. And no politician will be allowed to accept anything from lobbyists and any lobbyist found in the District of Columbia could be shot on sight.

Ahhhhh. I could be here all night agreeing with you. That is one of the problems. There is a liberal theme in most of the school systems in the US. Teaching is often bias and the kids are not taught to think for themselves. They are taught to parrot the one side that they hear at school and in the mass media. Who would teach responsibly when the teachers do not get incentives or support from their administrations? There are some great teachers, but there is definitely a problem with bias in the classroom.

Another big problem is the loss of values in America.

my opinion, and only my opinion is that America (for the most part) is just lazy and ungrateful. I am an American, but I think we could use a few improvements. I do not think we pay too much for gas (we pay, for instance 1/4 what the Germans pay, even at $3.00/gallon). If it too expensive to operate your 3,500 pound SUV, then get a freakin smaller car, and don't drive to the gym, run your lazy a$$. walk to the mailbox, and maybe take a bus to work, like most of the rest of the world does......As I said, these are merely my opinions, take em or leave em. Totally up to you.

well, where should I start.

1) the Jews in high power position , are doing everything for what is best for them, care little about this country.

2) our ego to be the world police, and only super power, so we spend 400 plus billions on weapons

3) the so called conservative who don't care about this country run as democracy. They meet in dark alley conspire to impose their believe and plan on this nation as very tiny group.

4) this country give away money to other well of country. t 10 to 15 billions to Israel, Egypt billions, and etc. as the lists goes on.

b) corporate welfare 100's billions for politicians friends of the well connect and lobbyist

c) government pet projects - like highway to no where, peanut farms, cotton farms and etc the list goes on, they are throwing away 100's of billions

5) The corporate media and the propaganda they feed us a picture perfect, and we are doing extremely well.
It is like in a house part of in smoke,and some part are are doing great. when you ask the fireman, he keep on saying everything is perfectly fine, and everybody is comfortable

Those things that suppose to be the priority are not the priority such education, health care, a living rage for the working men or women, and true law enforcement

The Teachers union needs to be abolished. A flat health insurance can available provided that EVERYONE PAYS INTO/FOR! Set hours of instruction FOR ALL SCHOOLS!

The problem I think is really simple. The US should top worrying and taking care of all the other countries. This country should help its self and stop shelling out our money to help them.
