I'm confused as to who started the whole thing, but I say be the bigger person. If she makes up something about you and then you turn around and tell her man something bad about her, it makes it seem like you must have really done what she made up or why would you want to get revenge, right? So just be graceful and maintain your innocence by telling people she just made it up. Your true friends/lovers will be the ones who believe you.

First of all, learn the difference between a friend and a false friend. The friend will never try to blackmail you, will always have your back, and would NEVER EVER try to ruin your life. The false friend will do whatever is necessary to make herself happy and to stay in control. If she really is your friend, then I suggest you both forget about this blackmailing crap and discuss what you're going to wear to your senior prom, or something like that. I would re-examine your relationship, if I were you. Forget the whole thing, forget whatever could destroy her life, and hopefully she'll do the same. If she doesn't, she's not a friend.

Sounds like ya'll are in the middle of a cold war.

I will say that guys come and go - friends are something that you lack as you grow older.

Take care - use your best judgement. Be the bigger person - do unto others as you would have done to you.

I say you two little drama queens need to grow up and leave the drama at the theater...and you don't sound like any kind of friend to her, or her to you...forget about each other (and the 'boy') and move on...

This life is too short for such nonsense...

Go talk to the guy. Tell him the truth, and take away the power she is holding over you.
You may just need to find a new friend.

Just stop hanging around her. If she is treating you that way, she is not much of a friend anyways. I don't think you should destroy her life. Just back off from her and get on with your life and don't let her ruin yours.
